As of 2009, Slovakia uses the EURO as its currency. Slovak crowns are no longer valid.

Slovak Coins

These coins are made from aluminum and magnesium alloys, with the higher denominations having electroplated nickel, bronze and copper.

Slovak Banknotes

These notes are typically 65mm by 128mm and are outfitted with anti-counterfeit devices, including a magnetic strip, latent thread, iridescent coating, high reflection foil and watermarks.

Philatelic Samples
